The Crown Season 2 (2 POSTS IN 1!?!?!?)
Hi! Sorry this post is late... I'm sure you all have been waiting (that's what I like to tell myself) :) So I'm going to be combining two posts in one since I didn't post last week but I still watched half a season each week. Meaning I'm going to be reviewing all of Season 2. Ready? Ok, so, this season had a LOT of characters and it was definitely a bit difficult to keep track of all of them. The Crown does a pretty good job in my opinion of bringing together aspects of royal life and the history of the British Crown as well as British politics of the day (since they are so intertwined) but that means you're juggling a lot at once. This season also goes over a lot of the international conflicts and relationships Great Britain had, both with other pro-US powers in the Cold War and the process of decolonization occurring in broad swaths of Asia and Africa.
